Vijayawada, August 5 Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSRC Party President Jagan Mohan Reddy met party workers from Kuppam Assembly constituency on Thursday. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Jagan announced the release of Rs 654 crore for various development works in the Vidhan Sabha constituency.
Keeping the general elections of 2024 in mind, Chief Minister Jagan Mohan has started making contact with the workers of all the assembly constituencies of the state starting from the Kuppam assembly seat. This seat is represented by Chandrababu Naidu, the leader of the main opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in the state.
Naidu has been winning 7 times in a row here, but in the last local elections, YSRC won Mandal Parishad, Zilla Parishad and Municipality, after which Jagan Mohan’s confidence has increased here.
The Chief Minister asked the party workers to wrest the seat from TDP this time and motivated them to work hard from now on. He also said that after the victory in the 2024 general elections, the party candidate will be given a place in the cabinet.
Starting his outreach campaign from the Kuppan area, Jagan has planned to meet and galvanize a large number of party workers across the state to turn the next elections into a big win from 2019.
