New Delhi, August 23 A technical fault occurred in the right engine of the Mumbai-bound IndiGo flight at the Goa airport while it was moving towards the runway. As soon as the information was received, a navy team was called to rescue the passengers. IndiGo officials said on Tuesday that they have succeeded in saving all the passengers.

The director of Goa airport said that there was a technical problem at the Goa airport on the runway of the Mumbai-bound IndiGo flight. The passengers were evacuated from the flight with the help of Navy rescue personnel.

Indigo Airbus (VT-IZR) is operating 6E6097 from Goa to Mumbai, the airline said. During the taxi-out of the Indigo aircraft, the pilot received a momentary engine warning. After which the flight was postponed. The passengers will be put on another flight to Mumbai.
