Author Salman Rushdie was attacked during an event in Chautauqua, near Buffalo, New York. Salman Rushdie has been stabbed 10-15 times. Salman Rushdie is currently on a ventilator after hours of surgery after being stabbed in the neck and torso. Reuters quoted his book agent as saying in the report that he may have lost sight in one eye.
