New Delhi, August 22: The Supreme Court has issued a notice to the Gujarat government while hearing Teesta Setalwad’s interim bail plea. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court said that we will consider what relief should be given to them, when the matter is under consideration in the Gujarat High Court. The matter will be heard again on August 25.

Senior lawyer Kapil Sibal, who appeared for Teesta in the Supreme Court, said that we want interim relief, a hearing has been scheduled in the High Court on September 19, on which the court asked that you wait till Thursday. In such a case, the matter will be heard again on August 25.
Teesta Setalwad, accused of allegedly forging documents to implicate innocent people in the 2002 Gujarat riots cases, has filed a petition seeking interim bail in the case in which she was arrested. Teesta was arrested on charges of forging documents to implicate high officials of the state.
