New Delhi, August 17: Modi government is going to provide accommodation to Rohingya refugees in Delhi. The Vishwa Hindu Parishad has hit out at the Narendra Modi government over its proposal to provide accommodation to Rohingya refugees.
The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) said it has directed the Delhi government to ensure that Rohingya migrants stay at their current locations.
The government should take care of the Hindu refugees of Pakistan
Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) working president Alok Kumar on Wednesday said that Hindu refugees from Pakistan are living in inhumane conditions in Delhi’s Majnu-Ka-Tila area, adding that the move to shift Rohingyas to apartments is condemnable.
Send them back to the government
He said that the VHP urges the Indian government to reconsider this decision and arrange for the Rohingyas to be sent back to India instead of giving them home. The VHP said that the Hindu refugees from Pakistan are living in deplorable conditions in Delhi’s Majnu-Ka-Tila area, which has made the award given to the Rohingya even more reprehensible.
