Dozens injured in Legoland roller coaster accident in Germany

A police spokesman told CNN that one person had serious but not life-threatening injuries after the incident in the Bavarian city of Günzburg, and 15 people were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The cause of the accident was not immediately clear, but investigators were working at the crash site, the spokesman said.

The incident was the second roller coaster accident in the country recently.

Local police told CNN that a 57-year-old woman died after falling from a roller coaster car in the Rhineland-Palatinate village of Kloten on Saturday. Investigators have yet to present their findings on the cause of the fatal crash.
