Louisville, Q. , Several people were arrested at the Kentucky State Fair, which was closed on Saturday night after law enforcement reported suspicious activity, officials said.
Kentucky State Police said in a statement: Twitter That the “soft close” began at around 10 pm to ensure the safety of the attendees at the fair. Police confirmed that no one was reported injured.
Police have not released any additional details about the incident, but local media outlets have confirmed that people were reportedly running from gunfire.
The identities of those arrested have not been made public. An investigation is ongoing.
Officials said the fair would resume normal operations on Sunday.
