Trump probe live updates: Ex-president demands ‘immediate release’ of warrant


Former President Donald Trump is calling for an “immediate release” of the warrant that allowed FBI agents to search his Mar-a-Lago property on Monday.

“Not only will I not oppose the release of documents relating to the un-American, unwarranted, and unnecessary raids and sabotage of my home in Palm Beach, Florida, Mar-a-Lago, I will take a step forward by encouraging the immediate I am going to release those documents, even if they are prepared by radical left Democrats and potential future political opponents who have a strong and powerful vested interest in attacking me, as they have done in the past 6 years ,” Trump wrote late Thursday. A post on his social media platform Truth Social.

“This unprecedented political weapon of law enforcement is unfair and highly immoral,” he said. “The world is watching our country being brought to a new low not only on our borders, crime, economy, energy, national security, and more, but also in relation to our sacred elections!”
